Properties: This product is a light yellow or gray-white powder with a relative density of 1.33. It is soluble in benzene and trichloromethane, soluble in ethanol,
and insoluble in water, tasteless, non-hygroscopic, and stable during storage.
Application: TBzTD is a safe secondary amine accelerator that is non-polluting, non-coloring, and non-carcinogen.It is an environmentally friendly accelerator, mainly used to replace thiodiglycolic acid type accelerators such as TMTD, because the presence of nitrosamines is harmful.TBzTD can be used as a rapid vulcanization main accelerator or auxiliary accelerator in the applications of NR, SBR, and NBR. When used with ETU in modified CR, it can act as an inhibitor. Compared with TMTD, TBzTD has a longer scorch time and better scorch resistance.
